Assemble the required equipment: A fiber cutter, fiber stripper, alcohol cleaning solution, lint-free cloth, and the LC connector are required.
Remove the protective coating from the fiber cable with the fiber stripper to reveal the bare fiber. Avoid nicking or scratching the fiber.
Fiber cleaving: Cut the fiber end cleanly and perpendicularly with the fiber cleaver. This will guarantee a flat and smooth fiber end.
Clean the fiber by wiping the fiber end with a lint-free cloth and the alcohol cleaning solution to get rid of any oil or debris.
Make sure the prepared fiber is properly placed in the LC connection by inserting it slowly into the connector.
Connector crimping: To fasten the connector to the fiber cable, use a crimping tool.
Test the connection: Make sure there is a strong signal by using a fiber optic tester to check the connection.
