How to remove a Standard Connector

Before disconnecting the connector, give it a thorough inspection to make sure it is not cracked or damaged. If the connector is broken, it might need to be replaced rather than taken out.
Release the latch: The SC connector is secured in place by a latch on the side. To release the latch, apply pressure to it.
Remove the connector by carefully pulling it straight out of the port when the latch has been released. Avoid twisting or bending the connector because doing so could harm the fiber optic cable.
Examine the cable: Once the connection has been taken off, check the fiber optic cable's end to make sure it is not tarnished or unclean. Clean up any dirt or debris if there is any with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
