Description
Micro PLC
splitters, or Planar Lightwave Circuit splitters, are compact devices crucial
in fiber-optic communication. They efficiently divide incoming optical signals
into multiple paths, commonly used in Passive Optical Networks (PONs). This
enables cost-effective distribution from a single fiber to multiple users,
housed in modular enclosures for space efficiency. Deployed in
telecommunication cabinets and data centers, these splitters receive signals
through a single fiber, dividing them based on user-defined ratios (e.g., 1:2,
1:4). Featuring SC/APC or SC/UPC connectors, Micro PLC splitters ensure low signal
loss, enhancing overall network performance.
